Annual Meeting 2009
The NPT hosted their 2009 Annual Meeting at the Unitarian Church, 11 Orange St, at 11 a.m. on July 31st, 2009. Guest speaker was architectrual historian Brian Pfeiffer, who addressed economical methods of care for historical buildings. Preservation Awards were presented to ReMain Nantucket, 'Sconset Trust and Sandford Kendall. (Click for press release) A luncheon at Sakaty Head Golf Course followed the meeting. Mr. David Lazarus kept guests entertained with a humorous monologue on mortgage buttons, based on writings by Mr. Pfeiffer. As the luncheon concluded, guests were invited by The 'Sconset Trust to tour Sankaty Head Lighthouse.
