Summer Kitchens
The NPT’s Fourth Annual Summer Kitchen Tour will focus on historic homes along Ash Lane, Centre Street, Step Lane and North Water Street. This special event illustrates how historic homes can be sensitively updated with modern kitchens and how historic kitchens can be incorporated into everyday life.

Annual Meeting and Historic Preservation Awards
Guest Speaker: Howard Mansfield

Howard Mansfield writes on preservation, architecture, and American history, and is the author of several books, including the acclaimed The Same Ax, Twice: Restoration and Renewal in a Throwaway Age, as well as In the Memory House. Mr. Mansfield also has contributed to The New York Times, American Heritage, The Washington Post, Historic Preservation, Yankee, and other publications.

August 7

August Fete and Moveable Feast
An evening of fun, food and preservation pointers in the Mill and Pleasant Street neighborhood. The August Fête is a feast for the eyes and palette. The evening will be comprised of a progressive tour of historic houses restored to accommodate modern life while keeping their architectural integrity intact. Enjoy these fine historic building and the community block party. Reception at Moor’s End garden.
